What are the best workouts for Children

What are the best workouts for children?
A Few Examples
Make physical activity fun. Fun activities can be anything your child enjoys, either structured or non-structured. Activities can range from team sports or individual sports to recreational activities such as walking, running, skating, bicycling, swimming, playground activities or free-time play.
Running and tumbling on a soft surface such as grass or a mat are great activities for young children. Climbing trees or monkey bars is also good exercise. As with all activities, children should be well supervised, especially when climbing.
The amount and type of exercise needed depends on the age and energy level of the child.

Jumping jacks are a great way to get the whole body moving. You do not even need to go outside which is nice as most full-body exercises require more space. Jumping jacks incorporate and improve muscular endurance (how long your muscles can move) as well as cardiorespiratory endurance (your heart and lungs working together to move for a long time) at the same time. Yoga poses and  Stretching , Yoga poses and stretching is a great way to increase your flexibility and muscular endurance. Many yoga poses allow you to elongate your muscles but also require you to hold poses in certain positions that require tension on the muscle which also strengthens them. Increasing flexibility not only helps your body but it also prevents injuries. Yoga is also a great therapy for special needs children such as with Autism, very beneficial. In fact these exercises are good for everybody. However, parents have to go along with children for doing such exercises to encourage their children to exercise regularly. The amount and type of exercise needed depends on the age and energy level of the child.

Combining regular physical activity with a healthy diet is the key to a healthy lifestyle.  Help your kids do in a variety of age-appropriate activities. Set a regular schedule for physical activity. Make being active a part of daily life, like taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Embrace a healthier lifestyle yourself, so you'll be a positive role model for your family. Be active together as a family.  MOST OF ALL  Keep it fun, so your kids will come back for more.
